Structural Engineer Expert. STR-1056 is the owner and principal of a structural engineering firm in Central California. In addition to management of the firm, his engineering responsibilities include the conceptual design of most projects undertaken by the firm; management and analysis of specific projects; and assistance with the production of construction documents. Since starting the firm in 1978, he has participated in over 1,000 projects covering a wide range of structural designs and investigations. Currently, his practice is shared equally between the design of buildings (largely as a consultant to architects) and the design of industrial (petroleum, agriculture, etc.) projects and components.
