Richard A. Young is an Aquatics Safety Expert Witness and has 35+ years of private, public, commercial and water park experience both as an operator, manager, equipment supplier, contractor and consultant. Richard developed Aquatic Commercial Consulting (ACC) in 1992 and since then, ACC has consulted on hundreds of public, institutional, commercial and high-end residential pool and water park facilities throughout the nation and abroad.
Mr. Young has worked for 36 years as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Instructor, 18 years as an Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) instructor, Certified Pool Inspector Instructor (Pool & Hot Tube Alliance, PHTA). He has also been published many dozens of times including books and articles on swimming pool construction, operation and safety.
