Plastic Surgeon Expert. PLA-2193 is presently director of a burn unit at a southern California medical center. He is an associate professor of surgery at the division of plastic and reconstructive surgery at a local university. He is also a lecturer of the plastic surgery residents on the plastic surgery core lecture series. PLA-2193s major areas of interest are in burn injury, wound healing, fibrosis, cytokines, growth factors, and inflammation. He has published over 75 articles, abstracts, and book chapters.
