Plastic Surgeon Expert. PLA-1161 is a physician-attorney with over twenty years of private practice experience in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Since 1997 he has had a private practice in Arizona. He was formerly chief of plastic surgery at two Louisiana hospitals. He was a clinical professor of plastic surgery at Tulane Medical Center and a visiting professor of plastic surgery and surgical hair restoration at the Baylor University College of Medicine in 1986. PLA-1161 has over ten years experience in medical-legal record review and analysis as an expert witness. He was corporate counsel to the Louisiana State Society of Plastic Surgeons for five years, and he has served on fifteen medical malpractice review panels. He has spoken on medico-legal aspects of breast implant surgery at annual meetings of the Louisiana State Society of Plastic Surgery and the Southern Medical Association.
