Nicholas E. Rose, M.D., F.A.C.S. – an Orthopedic Surgeon/Hand Surgeon Expert Witness, is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Rose is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Rose received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1987 and graduated Magna Cum Laude and went to medical school at the University of California in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1991. Furthermore, he did his residency in orthopaedic surgery from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center between July 1991 to June 1996.
Dr. Rose was a Clinical Instructor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCLA School of Medicine until 2014, and is now a part of the UCLA Alumni Mentor Program and the UCI Medical Student Shadowing Program. He has experience with SLAP tear injuries.
Dr. Rose is an honored professional and has received numerous awards and honours both as a professional and as a student. Some of these are:- Orange County Medical Association Physician of Excellence in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013; Outstanding Resident Paper at Western Orthopaedic Association, Santa Barbara, CA in April 1995; Outstanding Research Project at 17th Annual Harbor-UCLA Orthopaedic Education Program, Long Beach, CA in June 1994; Dean’s Honor List from 1983 to 1987 and Golden Key National Honor Society in 1986.
