Mechanical Engineering Expert. MEC-1747 is currently a professor of engineering at an Arizona university. He is also a consultant to BF Goodrich Aerospace, where he has performed testing and failure analysis of airplane components. He has extensive knowledge of internal combustion and diesel engines from his years as a consultant to Aerodyne Dallas. He also spent twenty years as a member of Motorolas Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, where he studied issues related to stress analysis, analysis of structures, and structural dynamics. MEC-1747 has written textbooks on the finite element method and mechanics of solids. His papers have been published in such technical journals as the Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics and the Journal of Sound and Vibration.
