Henry (Hank) J. Kahrs, CPA/ABV, CFF, CMA, CFE, CM is an Economic Damages/Forensic Accountant/Fraud Examiner Expert Witness and a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics, Certified Management Accountant, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
For the past 25 years, Mr. Kahrs has practiced as a forensic accountant and fraud examiner quantifying economic damages in complex commercial, civil and criminal cases. He has been retained in cases that involve loss of profits, real estate shareholder disputes, business valuation, lost earnings, fraud, bankruptcy, construction, contract disputes, corporate & partnership dissolution, marital dissolution, asset tracing, workers compensation insurance, embezzlement, and intellectual property damages.
Mr. Kahrs obtained the Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology and Master of Business Administration in Finance from the California State University – Fullerton.
Mr. Kahrs has participated in seminars and presentations involving investigative accounting, fraud and measurement of damages to colleagues, and members of the insurance industry and legal profession. He has also authored and delivered numerous continuing and legal accounting education courses.
