Fire Investigator Expert (FIR-1318)

Fire Investigator Expert. From 1961 to 1993, FIR-1318 was employed with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF). His focuses with CDF were fire suppression, fire suppression-investigation, and fire prevention and investigation. In 1986 he was promoted to law enforcement coordinator for the Southern California Region, with responsibilities including law enforcement training, coordination of formal law enforcement operations, and arson profiling to identify and apprehend serial arsonists. He was also an advisor to case managers of serial arson investigations. FIR-1318 has coordinated and initiated civil litigation.
