Environmental Analysis Expert. ENV-1781 has over 22 years of experience with environmental analysis, land use planning, and environmental mediation in the western United States. With experience from a variety of industry and agency permitting efforts, ENV-1781 is a recognized expert in the implementation of the California Surface Mining and Reclamation Act of 1975 (SMARA). He has prepared numerous environmental impact assessment documents covering a wide range of impact issues. Presently, ENV-1781 is president of a mining consulting company in Southern California. His previous positions include manager of environmental services for Zucker Systems, environmental and reclamation supervisor for the Black Butte Coal Company, soil scientist and reclamation specialist for Peter Kiewit Sons Company, research assistant for the California Department of Forestry, and engineering aid for the Plumas County Planning and Engineering Department.
