David Friedland, Ph.D. is a Human Resources Expert Witness and has over 30 years of experience in the human resources field, working with both private and public sector employees. He is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of California.
Dr. Friedland got his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Psychology with a major in Industrial Psychology and Social Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a major in Psychology Measurement and Evaluation from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Friedland is the President of Friedland HR Assessment Services since 1981. He has also been an Instructor of Psychology at East Los Angeles College and Instructor of Psychological Testing at California School of Professional Psychology. His areas of expertise include Development and Validation of job related employee selection procedures; Job/Competency Analysis; Statistical Analysis; Organizational Research to Identify ways to Reduce Costs and to Increase Productivity; and Training.
Dr. Friedland estimates he has served as a litigation consultant and expert witness in more than 60 cases, including several landmark employment discrimination cases involving both private sector companies and government agencies. These cases have included allegations of wrongful termination, and discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, national origin and sexual harassment.
