Occupational Safety Expert. As the director of safety education and training for an Arizona healthcare safety organization, OCC-1695 develops and presents seminars for healthcare administrators nation-wide. He develops and implements safety certification programs for a national safety education and training institute. And he oversees the accreditation and certification of environmental safety officers for the International Board of Environmental Health and Safety in Seattle. Before becoming a safety consultant, OCC-1695 held a variety of positions with the U.S. Army and Army Reserve, including medic, clinical specialist, private duty nurse, and recruiter. His writing on safety issues has appeared frequently in the Hospital Safety Information Service and in the bi-monthly journal Nursing Home Safety News, which he also edits.
