Mechanical Engineer Expert. MEC-1529 has nearly 30 years of hands-on experience as a consulting engineer. This experience includes being actively involved with HVAC and plumbing design, capital budgeting decisions for infrastructure improvement, and energy management projects for numerous institutional, commercial, health, and educational facilities. He has been a consulting engineer in private practice since 1983. He has been active in mechanical and electrical renovation of existing buildings and provided consulting engineering services to electric utility companies, assisting in their demand-side management programs. MEC-1529 has taught at Hanover College, Purdue University, Ball State University, and Old Dominion University, as well as in the U.S. Army.
