Lighting Expert. LIG-1505s expertise in the fields of lighting and visibility was developed, in large part, during fourteen years with the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia as a senior research engineer and manager of transportation sciences. There he directed and conducted research in such areas as lighting, visibility, conspicuity, traffic safety, and cost balance analysis, among others. He spent six subsequent years at another Philadelphia company as a senior associate and manager of transportation research, before entering private practice as a transportation and traffic safety researcher and forensic consultant, in 1985. LIG-1505s many research activities include evaluation of traffic-signal visibility, research on motorcycle onspicuity and lighting, and computer analyses of visibility provided by roadway and vehicular lighting systems.
