Fire Safety Engineer Expert. FIR-1320 has over 18 years of experience in fire protection and life safety. He is currently a consulting engineer. His experience includes litigation support and expert testimony. FIR-1320 previously worked for the Orange County Fire Authority and directed the agency’s HazMat research and state and federal risk management programs (CalARP & RMP). He has developed codes and standards and performed work as a consultant and technical advisor to government agencies, officials, and various fire authority bureaus. FIR-1320 has taught fire protection and life safety engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology and has been an adjunct assistant professor at the UCLA School of Public Health.
